Planning and procurement of parts according to customer demands
Update and maintain accurate stock on financial system Baan in conjunction with weekly material requirements planning
Capturing final shipping notifications on Baan
Monitor suppliers for over or under supply and escalate any problems
Monitor and update supply chain tools to ensure sufficient stock levels
MRP runs, releases and evaluating suppliers according to their supply performance
Comply with SARS rules and regulations for quarterly returns on all customers
Attend Engineering change meetings and ensure new parts are in-plant before the Engineering change date
Weekly reporting as per customer requirements
Ensure sufficient packaging is available for the supply of required material from local suppliers
Job Requirements:
NQF 4 qualification / Matric
National Diploma or Degree in Logistics (advantageous)
3-5 years relevant experience in Material requirement planning in a first-tier automotive company supplying to most OEMs
Customs tariff headings and Incoterms
3-5 years relevant experience in Bond store control and management with a clear understanding of Rebate items and SARS requirements for a Bond store.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze customer releases vs supplier deliveries and plan thereof
Customer and CX release portal experience
Excellent communication, strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making abilities
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deal with complexity
