Overview

Knight Frank MENA is embarking on a transformative journey, evolving and expanding its capabilities to better serve our clients in the dynamic MENA real estate landscape. As part of this evolution, we are looking to recruit an analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated self-starter to manage and oversee our internal proprietary property market data, its synthesis, and subsequent development into insightful dashboards.

In this role, you will not only be responsible for the management and synthesis of data but also for stakeholder management, working closely with multiple teams across the organization. Your ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, understand their data requirements, and communicate insights will be crucial in driving strategic decision-making and enhancing our research capabilities. You will collaborate closely not only with the Middle East Research team but also with our Group Data Office, which serves as a pivotal component of our Global Data Strategy.

Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive data management roadmap aligned with business objectives, technology capabilities, and industry best practices.

Work closely with Global Data Management Lead, Data Engineers, Research Analysts, Business Supports, and Client Care Managers to deliver the program.

Prioritize initiatives and projects based on their impact on operational efficiency and strategic goals.

Define key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements to execute the data management roadmap successfully, ensuring a seamless integration of research excellence and client-centric insights.

Develop and implement data governance procedures and best practices to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.

Establish data quality frameworks and processes to monitor, cleanse, and enrich data across diverse internal and external sources and systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards to facilitate consistent data management practices.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify gaps in data governance and ensure adherence to Group Data standards.

Act as a liaison between business units, including Research, Data and IT, and external data providers to understand data requirements, priorities, and challenges.

Engage with key stakeholders to communicate data strategies, initiatives, and performance metrics effectively.

Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Design and develop intuitive and actionable PowerBI dashboards.

Gather requirements from stakeholders to identify KPIs, metrics, and visualizations that provide insights into real estate performance, market trends, and client-centric insights.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency in dashboards by validating underlying data sources and implementing data validation checks.

Other tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in data management, data governance or a related role. Knowledge of the MENA real estate market would be advantageous.

Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management and best practices.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong stakeholder management abilities.

Strong team player with the ability to build relationships.

Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work flexible schedules to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.

Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.

The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (Knight Frank internal systems).

Certifications and Licenses: MRICS desired but not essential.

Software: Microsoft Office programs to an advanced/proficient level. Proficiency in SQL and PowerBI, with experience in dashboard design and data visualization techniques.

Language skills: Fluency in English, written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic or other languages is advantageous.

Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
