Amazing private practice looking for a strong OD to work full time 5 days per week. Practice has MDs and ODs providing primary eye care. Provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care with a team of certified optometrists, contact lens specialists and a designer eyewear optical center. Recently voted as one of the top cities in the country to start a business and raise a family. Amarillo has a number of natural attractions near the city including the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, the U.S.’s second largest canyon system, after the Grand Canyon and the Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument. Amarillo is located near the middle of the Texas Panhandle and Amarillo sits closer in proximity to the Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado borders.

Job Duties:

• Able to provide full scope optometry including routine eye exams.

• Medical cases.

• pathology

• Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.

• Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism and glaucoma.
