3rd Shift Flexo Press Operator

A label printer in Butler, WI is adding a flexo press operator to their 3rd shift, 10pm-6am. Preference for experience on Mark Andy, Comco, Nilpeter, Aquaflex, Webtron, etc.

Set up and efficiently running a Flexographic Press by performing traditional Flexographic printing and die cutting to convert prime labels.

Responsibilities

Operate Flexo press to produce job according to specification.

Prepare machines for printing and die cutting.

Ink the press, load substrate, install tooling, mount plates, set print impression and adjust the press.

Ensure that substrate, ink and tooling meet specifications.

Web paper through the press and adjust feed and tension controls.

Make adjustments to manage ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber.

Search for and correct problems.

Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of substrate and ink.

Oil and clean the presses and make minor repairs.

Perform preventive maintenance.
