CHALLENGER SPORTS

An organization that activates elite youth soccer camps across the U.S. teaching youth new ways and techniques to improve their overall performance on the soccer field.

• Organized and maintained the contacts between current accounts as well as managing the merchandise sent to the camps.

• Developed excel spread sheets, keeping track of our contacts and their information for future collaborations as well as tracking our overall performance from year to year.

• Managed inventory at the warehouse.

BRADLEY HOSPITAL

This hospital is an establishment where children and young adults with disabilities are cared for and engage in a school environment during the day amongst other young adults with similar lifestyles. Many of the patients lived in residential homes, which is where I was stationed.

• My duties were to care for the patient that I was assigned to during my shift.

• I was to engage my patient in activities, keeping them busy throughout their day. I was to assist the patient by helping them learn and become more able to be a member of today’s society. My job was to prepare these young adults, enabling them to become comfortable interacting in the world with other people; to have the ability to leave the hospital’s care and live at home with their families.

• During a shift the patients whom resided at my stationed house needed constant supervision. We were to always have eyes on them redirecting as well as using restraints if needed, which we were trained and certified in.

• At the end of every shift staff would case note the patients day logging in any important details such as agitation, bowel movements or illnesses.

EXETER JOB CORPS ACADEMY

This academy is a vocational school where young adults from ages 16-24 enroll to be trained in a specific area as well as earning their high school diploma and or GED if they haven’t already done so.

• As the Peer Leadership Coordinator I was in charge of the leadership program. This program consisted of the Student Government Association (SGA), military preparation program, teaching four leadership classes, running events sponsored by the SGA, and documenting the students progress, incidents, accomplishments, etc.

• Managed the student government’s financial account, meeting with the finance director on a monthly basis.

• Working closely with the SGA members training them to become efficient leaders as well as becoming more responsible and professional for the future.

• Conducting events on center such as school dances, field days, talent shows, poetry readings, etc. I would also arrange community service acts for the students to interact with their surrounding communities on a monthly basis.

• To model, mentor and monitor as an efficient, successful and professional employee.
