Promoted to lead and further integrate the entire Structural & Industrial Adhesives (SIA) unit comprised of 5 different businesses, Auto/Transportation, Building & Construction, Roofing, Marine and Industrial. Responsible for $120 million in global sales, managing 7 Account Managers. Closed fiscal 2011 posting record financials and positioning SIA as the best performing unit in Ashland Performance Material division.
Successfully restructured the Building & Construction Adhesives business, meeting the exceptional demands of the declining Housing Market. Increased the business EBITDA % to a record high 12.8%.
Territory realignment and head count reduction from seven senior Account Managers to four; created two new hybrid positions where Technical Service Representatives were coached and trained to cover Sales responsibility.
Despite double digit decrease in volumes, maintained unit gross margin levels at pre-downturn standards by implementing new Strategic Account Management initiatives, improving the overall position with all key customers.
Worked closely with Marketing to further segment the market, identifying new opportunities in a variety of segments such as Institutional Furniture, Commercial Signage and Raised Pavement Markers.
Pioneered & established partnership with a Marketing Trading Company specialized in the Chinese market, enabling Ashland to serve existing US customers that are taking part of their operations to China.
Ideated and launched a new adhesive product for the DIY market representing over $5 million in sales and over 50% market share in its segment.

Recruited to establish SOUDAL Inc., American Branch of SOUDAL NV (Belgium) by President & CEO. Attained breakeven after 14 months; increasing sales from $0 to over $6 million.
Launched several new products in the U.S. market including PowerStick™, King Kaulk™ and T-Rex™. Two of the products were launched in cooperation with leading companies Red Devil and Powers Fasteners.
In both Canada and the US, positioned Soudal as the leading private label supplier of polyurethane foam in aerosol cans bringing sales from $0 to over $5 million.
