Managed Corporate Accounting Systems team. In charge of hiring, supervising and reviewing management and technical team members.

Directed the development of Ad Hoc Report Writer, a web-based reporting tool for dynamic querying HR and financial corporate data that saved in excess of $1M by eliminating developer costs and centralizing data. Program was cloned and deployed across five additional departments.

Met all strict deadlines to institute improvements to stock accounting systems and strategically manage stock expenses.

Championed the design and launch of the Associate Self Service Portal providing 120K+ Associates with the ability to access pay stubs and W-2s as well as enroll, modify or cancel direct deposits. On launch, the portal became the most utilized associate application (4.4M annual pay stub retrievals), eliminating printing and mailing costs and significantly contributing to the company’s ‘go green’ initiatives.

Initiated and led all efforts to create a corporate data warehouse synchronized with the mainframe company database and PeopleSoft HR to effectively capture and integrate key employee, payroll and financial data into a centralized repository for ad-hoc reporting. The new initiative led to expansive utilization of the enterprise-wide data for financial reporting, HR reporting, self-service, turnover reporting, stock accounting and diversity reporting.

Designed, managed and worked with developers, finance and accounting, internal audit and senior management to create a Marriott International Lease Accounting System application to automate process of paying Marriott leases.
