JOB DESCRIPTION (15 years in a disk drive companies - due to mergers

I have consolidated three disk drive companies experience.

. Started as a components engineer but was promoted to the manager

components engineering - Build a component engineering department

- group of 5 components engineers were direct report to me.

Developed procedures for components engineering to meet ISO-9000

practice and requirements. This period was at early stage of ISO

procedures and practice, later coordinated generating my own

department procedures.

. Responsible to establish a Supplier engineering department that

focused on cost reduction and JIT availability of commodity

product.

. Managed an active supply chain of 150 suppliers covering all types

of components (passive, active, semi-custom & custom).

. Developed a new strategy to focus material bandwidth on key

suppliers. Implemented the "best 3" program to effectively control

the Supply Chain. The "best 3 "program resulted in saving of $3.6

million in the first year alone.

. Established a component qualification lab and reduced
