Summary:

The Consumer Bank Programs & Events Manager’s responsibility will be the planning, management and execution of executive level events, large segment/leadership meetings/summits as well as colleague and customer events (potential for in-person and virtual), vendor/venue management, budget adherence and supporting communication plan execution. Position will report to the CRB Colleague Engagement, Development & Recognition Manager and align closely with CRB Executive Leadership Team (ELT), segment leadership teams and event partners within Huntington.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Partner with the CRB Leadership Team to create Category of One Regional Visits, Town Halls, Segment Leader Meetings and Customer/Community Events

Collaborate with program leads for CRB recognition events, meetings and summits to recognize, reward & retain top performing colleagues.

Work with internal resources on development of support materials from inception through approvals: collateral, invitations, registration surveys, etc.

Ability to take direction and manage projects independently

Manage budgets for each project/event

Manage contracts through negotiation and sourcing approval process

Work with CRB Colleague Engagement, Development & Recognition Manager, CRB Program Managers and internal colleagues to create and develop event materials, invitations, booklets, etc.

Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met

Be the expert of gifts, trophies etc. and provide options to meeting/event owners and execute on approved items.

Organize necessary equipment and event needs, e.g. audio-visual, tables, chairs, linens, flowers, etc.

Coordinate volunteers for event execution including onsite set-up, Q&A assistance, presenter/AV management, etc.

All event administration including registration surveys, food allergies, attendee tracking, pre-post event communications, presentation and materials support, survey management.

Basic Qualifications:

5-7 years minimum of experience in meeting and event planning. Financial services experience a plus.

BA in communication, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred or experience in lieu of minimum qualification

Travel throughout the footprint will be required at times

Working outside of standard office hours, e.g. evenings and weekends for events

Ability to problem solve in the moment

Ability to work with executive leadership

Provide outstanding customer service

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
