Fleet Mechanic

Job Details Job Location: FedEx Ground P&D (Whitehall) - Whitehall, OH Salary Range: $47,000.00 - $58,000.00 Salary/year Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team.

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive issues on everything from tractors to cargo vans.

SCHEDULE: SUNDAY's- THURSDAY's 3:30 pm- 11:30 OR MONDAY's- FRIDAY's 2 am- 10 am Duties * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in vehicles and equipment * Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or safety concerns * Complete necessary repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime * Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed * Work with FedEx management to ensure compliance of all vehicles at all times * Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the fleet Qualifications * Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role * Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques * Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment * Familiarity with air brake systems and vehicle maintenance procedures * Experience working with farm machinery is a plus * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record If you are a skilled mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing vehicles, we would love to hear from you.
