Role Description
A Sales Engineer at Status Solutions acts as the primary technical resource for the field sales team and is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of new and existing customer deployments. Our Engineers are vital to driving successful customer experience outcomes through technology consultation, with a focus on successful software integrations and the support of our valued business partner network. This person is responsible for communicating and collaborating between the solutions management, sales, and operation teams to create cohesive technology outcomes for our end-users. To be successful in this role you should be able to provide exceptional customer service, be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to communicate effectively within diverse group dynamics.
Responsibilities
Acts as a primary technical resource for the field sales team and is responsible for overseeing the technical integrity of new and existing customer deployments
Develops new sales opportunity pipelines in existing accounts.
Respond to customer or business partner inquiries about our products/solutions
Provide software and hardware support to customers and valued business partners
Perform developmental activities to target new competitive large accounts.
Drives successful customer experience outcomes through technology consultation and counselor sales
Work closely with sales and operations team
Is responsible for communicating and collaborating between the solutions management, sales, and the operation teams to create cohesive technology outcomes for our end-users
Continually focuses on creating an environment that promotes the overall growth of Status Solutions and Status Solutions Network
Funneling any potential leads to Sales & SSN team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technology, business, or communication field preferred but not required.
Three-five years of prior field sales and/or project management experience
Effective time management and organizational skills
Comfortable talking with customers and proposing new products/solutions to generate customer interest and warm leads
Display a high-level of critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Experience with remote meeting/webinar tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken
Information technology or software-as-a-service experience preferred but not necessary.
